The Center for Research and Training in Disaster Medicine, Humanitarian and Global Health (CRIMEDIM) invited SAFE Foundation to participate in the Horizon 2020 project NO FEAR workshop. The invitation involved the presentation of project VERTIgO, alongside other EU-funded projects on training and education approaches.
The main objective of the workshop was to understand the state-of-the-art training in the fields of disaster medicine, as well as compare different training techniques. Moreover, the workshop aimed at discovering innovative solutions, including virtual reality, extended reality, serious games and teaching techniques.
In this context, the VERTIgO project poses itself as an innovative approach to CBRN training with the use of virtual reality for both military and civilian first responders.
