The VERTIgO consortium was proud to be in attendance at Toxic Trip 2023, one of the most important events in the world of NATO and CBRN defense that this year took place in Koksijde, Belgium.
During the Industry and VIP days of 24-25 September, consortium partners had an opportunity to showcase preliminary results obtained within the project, gathering valuable feedback in particular on the overall design of the VERTIgO EESP. During the event, we were honoured to have CBRN high-level specialists from EU Member State Airforces in attendance. They had the opportunity to learn more about VERTIgO’s objectives and were given an exclusive sneak peek at the design of the EESP.
VERTIgO seeks to represent a significant step forward in CBRN training, enabling military and civilian operators to experience training and react to realistic CBRN scenarios in a controlled virtual environment. This technology, complemented by real-life training, can not only enhance the effectiveness of training itself, but it can also minimize the risks associated with live exercises.
Toxic Trip 2023 was a remarkable experience, and we are grateful to have been a part of this influential event. With VERTIgO and other pioneering initiatives, Fondazione SAFE is proud to be actively contributing to the advancement of CBRN training.
